Summary
“Rupert, what’s the ideal situation for you?” Jenny asked, crossing her arms and giving him her best inquisitive look. “That I just stay at home? Watch TV while the guy I love is throwing himself into life-threatening situations? Do you think you would ever be able to sit still and do nothing if you knew that you could do something to stop me from getting hurt?”
(an AU of Becoming, and the summer that follows it.)

Summary
The plot is slow. There are no 'ships. The characters are stiff upper-lipped old men.
I have labored to include a myriad of underutilized and moribund vernacular for this, Classicblack's "Vocabulary Challenge". My only hope is that this piece will moreso add than detract from the ecclectic manifest that is my author's page and not act as a deterrent to my other works, which, though they contain their own idiosyncracies, are not meant to be as tedious or saturnine as this.
It may help to approach this story in the same manner as one might when reading Lewis Carrol's "Jabberwocky". If you don't recognize a word, you may construe its meaning from the context. Be advised that even the mighty Word does not acknowledge some of the outdated syntax, and with that said, one may speculate to their heart's content about the true spelling of the contents within.

Summary
The year is 1978. Poverty levels are high. The working class is getting screwed. The streets gain new heights of trash each day. Sirens fill the air with its ghostly calls, and the police are gone as soon as they come. Let’s face it: England is shite. Any voice is a loaded gun, no matter how it speaks.
James Potter and Sirius Black have taken a liking to holding guns with their tongues, and it's only a matter of time before they're firing off at one another.
