Summary
Kiyoomi has never enjoyed being an Omega. Especially when his family makes it clear: Find an Alpha to bring home for Christmas, or we'll find one for you. His friends are all busy, so he asks his rival. But why does Atsumu keep looking at him like that?
It was his own fault, for being thirty years old and thinking it was acceptable to be unmated. He had never been interested in any of it. All any knot-headed Alpha wanted was for Kiyoomi to live up to the Sakusas’ high-class reputation, and be a perfect little purebred Omega, submissive and subservient.
Kiyoomi wasn’t either of those things. He was the head of hydroelectric power at Musubi Public Works, and an incredibly talented water-weaver. Hinata’s flawless flame-throwing made him a perfect partner, and their precise teamwork ensured their department was always in the top two when it came to production numbers.
He'd like to be number one always, but he had a fierce rival in the raw electricity department.
Amp it all, here he was now.
Atsumu Miya, lightning arcer and genuine pain in the ass. Not because he was shocking. No, because he was full of himself.

Atsumu smiled, wrapping an arm around Kiyoomi’s shoulders and pulling him closer. “Ya don’t feel like throwin’ up or kickin’ me in the face, do ya?”
“I’ve never kicked anyone in the face.”
“Ya’ve thought about it.”
“I’m thinking about it right now.”
Atsumu chuckled, rubbing slow circles into Kiyoomi’s shoulder.
“You don’t make me anxeous…surprisingly,” Kiyoomi muttered after a pause.
Atsumu grinned. “That supposed to be a compliment?”
“Take it however you want.”
“Oh, I’m takin’ it as a huge one.”

Summary
Miya Atsumu is in love with Kiyoomi.
Often times, Kiyoomi doesn't pick up on hints, and with Atsumu he didn't think his confession would end with them becoming a couple. Now, dating for 9 months, it is plainly clear to Kiyoomi, that Atusmu is unmistakably in love with Kiyoomi.
Despite figuring this out, Atsumu says nothing. He's always been one to wear his heart on his sleeve. Kiyoomi feels overwhelmed, with the amount of evidence piling up, and Atsumu not directly acknowledging anything.
Perhaps, even more overwhelming, Kiyoomi starts to think he returns the sentiment. Love is something he doesn't have much experience with, and if it's anything like Atsumu's; it's devastating.
(Or; 4 times Kiyoomi knows that Atsumu is in love with him, and the one time Kiyoomi knows he is in love with Atsumu.)

Summary
The last place on earth Sakusa Kiyoomi wants to be is on this godforsaken ship sailing across the seas to attend a boring science lecture, but it is a necessary evil if he wishes to avoid attending his grandmother's birthday celebrations.
That is, until his ship is boarded by a band of pirates and Kiyoomi finds himself in extremely unwanted company.
He can cope with most of the rambunctious crew; though they're armed to the hilt, they're relatively harmless.

“Sakusa and Ushijima got a spread in Vogue Japan,” Barnes says, a knowing smirk on his face, and Atsumu’s good mood tanks like the Titanic.
He furiously flips through the magazine until he finds the offending pages. The pièce de résistance is a side shot of Ushijima on some clear plastic ottoman, legs outstretched with Sakusa standing between them. His hands are wrapped around Sakusa’s thighs and Sakusa is tilting Ushijima’s chin up. It’s the eyes that do it, though - there’s something ineffable, something smoldering, about the way they gleam. Atsumu doesn’t know if it’s love or something markedly south of that, but he knows neither man has the acting chops to fake that.
“Disgusting,” Atsumu grumbles, throwing the magazine down on the bench.

There are a few unavoidable truths in Atsumu's world. One: Osamu is his punishment from a past life. Two: calling his ma every Sunday is vital for his sanity. Three: Sakusa Kiyoomi and Ushijima Wakatoshi are soulmates. End-game. Matching puzzle pieces.
