Summary
Crepus is not a fighter. Not a knight, not like his sons - he is a businessman, first and foremost. He does not have the reflexes for combat, the honed skill to maintain his balance and foothold at any cost. He has always relied on the Delusion to apply brute force - he has never learned beyond that.
So, when the ground betrays him, when reality betrays him, he is powerless to stop his fall. His body pitches to the side, falling further and further into the inexplicable nothing. He sees - he sees darkness, and deep purples, and blues, and an endless, starless void -
The Delusion slips from his hand, flying off into space, as Crepus falls into the depths of the Abyss.

Summary
Before Albedo left for Dragonspine he gave Klee a list of knights to go to if she ever needed help. After waking up from a nightmare in an empty HQ, Klee is forced to ask for help from the name at the very bottom.
Kaeya is of the opinion he shouldn't have even been on it in the first place.

Family was a word Kaeya never really understood. Like a windblume, vague and endlessly defined. Much like himself, it shifts over the years.
or, conversations about family, and what it means to find a place within one.
