Dawn had just barely dusted the large expanse of sky when Jongho first saw that boy.
In the early hours of morning, the temperature was mild yet mixed with a thick, humid air— as sticky as the orange fruit held between rough, calloused hands. He had been hidden behind thick leaves, green and vibrant, when he heard it.
A soft hum and even footsteps, walking along the dirt path that lined the roads by his home. He remembered wiping the sweat from his brow, looking up to lay eyes on whatever it was that had interrupted his usually silent mornings.
That was the first day he’d seen him, yes— and he was beautiful.
