Summary
Five years after Hawkmoth's defeat, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste have settled into a comfortable life as full-time adults, part-time superheroes. Adrien is a physics professor at a local lycée, while Marinette is the CEO and head designer of her own line called Milady. The pair have moved in together and have been together for six years, but due to their busy schedules, are not often able to make time for each other. Both are feeling as though the love they have built together is fading away, and each will do whatever it takes to bring it back.

She struggles to come to terms with potentially losing her sight for the rest of her life, but finds a welcome distraction in the form of getting Hiccup to confess how he feels about their relationship. Purely because she's going to need him if her condition is permanent, of course.
