He has no idea what drove him to the alley outside her flat. Perhaps somewhere in the haze of pain and blood, he knew that she was probably the only person in the city who would have helped him. Or maybe he’d just wanted to see her once more before he died.

She wanted to stay awake, she did, if only because Macintosh had never looked so concerned in all the years she’d know him, but her eyelids felt like lead and her chest might as well have had a bear sitting on it and it was just so hard.

May the odds be ever in your favor.
Shy, quiet Beth Greene is District Eleven's tribute and unless she can convince her surly, cold mentor, Daryl Dixon, to have a little faith in her, she'll be dead in a few days.

Summary
Sadie smiled, and the spirit rushed. It zagged around Stephen and slammed straight into Boo, blossoming out of her back with a hellish shriek. Agony, or maybe terror. I held up my hands, but there was no way to stop it.
The impact was heart-deep. The electric stiffness of power arrested my limbs, and I tumbled back, into the bridge barrier. Over.
I was falling. There was nothing but gray sky, and brown river, and the smell of burning flowers, until I crashed through the frigid murk of river below. Then there was nothing at all.In a safe-house outside of London, Rory deals with spirits, stitches, and Stephen Dene.

Summary
“I have to go.” Lucy gasps out.
Lockwood swallows harshly, face flushed. “Yeah. Me too.”
Except they both stay there, her hands clutching his coat lapels (when did they get there?), his buried in her hair (when did they get there?), chests brushing with every heavy breath.
“I really have to go.” Lucy says.
“Mmhmm.” Lockwood agrees, but then his mouth is descending back to hers.
or; Lucy might have left Lockwood and Co, but she can't get Lockwood out of her system.

Summary
Of course, Lucy shrugged off his concern, said something about it being fine, about Holly being there to look after her. As if Lucy would ever let Holly look after her. There was a tightness to Lockwood then—a warring of his features that underscored the doubts he had over Lucy’s reassurances. Holly wanted to scream, ask to switch partners, but at Lucy’s intractability, he faltered, gave them a smile, and said they’d meet back up in a half hour before he left.
Their psychic survey continued. In dead silence.

Summary
"I saw pale kings and princes too / Pale warriors, death-pale were they all; / They cried—‘La Belle Dame sans Merci / Thee hath in thrall!’"
When Lockwood is enchained by Tufnell’s ghost, Lucy confronts the feelings she’s buried for years in order to bring him back.
Afterwards, with danger and darkness closing in and the weight of everything left unsaid between them, Lockwood and Lucy must each make a choice.
A game is afoot, whether they know it or not.
And time is running out.
A reimagining of the “La Belle Dame” case from “The Empty Grave” and what came after.
Inspired by John Keats’ poem, “La Belle Dame Sans Merci”

Summary
“So, you’re taking Lucy and not me for the manpower?”
“Er, partly.” Lockwood grimaces. “But mostly because the party is for married couples only and no offense George, but you’re not my type.”
Lucy chokes on an unfortunately timed sip of tea.
“I am offended, actually.” George says thoughtfully as he bites into his final slice of toast. “But I’ll get over it on my way to the archives to do some more research.”
Or: Lucy and Lockwood go undercover as a fake couple despite their very real feelings.
