Summary
The chill of autumn creeps through Robby’s jacket as he makes his way towards the edge of cliff. The view is beautiful. In the distance, the mountains peak through the clouds gliding down towards a large prairie of green grass that stretches for miles. Robby venture his eyes towards the bottom of the cliff where rocks riddles the side that leads up to the edge of where he is standing.

Dodge Mason knows he’s a boy before he’s five years old.
For a long time, a lot of other people do, too. His parents dress him in hand-me-downs from his cousins, ripped jeans and rodeo tees and flannel shirts filling up his wardrobe, burying the white lace and soft pink ribbons his grandmothers try so hard to get him to wear. He’s four the first time he can remember wearing a dress, a gift from one of them, his dad’s mom, and he stands there at his sister’s birthday party, itchy and sticky and hot and just all wrong as all of the older women fawn over how pretty he looks.
That dress had lasted fifteen minutes, tops, before it was covered in sweat and dirt and blood stains from scraped knees and abandoned in favor of running around in the shorts he’d worn underneath, topless, just like his cousins.
“Andrea Mason,” his mother chides, in a tone he still can’t forget. “That’s not ladylike.”
“But all the other boys do it, mama,” he whines.
“It’s okay for the boys to do it, but you’re not a boy,” she replies, and her words sting more than the peroxide she’d poured over his knees.Bookmarked by beforemidnite

Summary
Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)

Eventually, reader has to choose a side. Tony or Steve. Hell, reader might even have to choose more than once when it comes to being friends, or even more, with Peter and Wade.
Sometimes you won't have to choose ;)
