When Peter and her had talked about the ski trip as being the probable end point of their fake relationship, she'd forgotten that there was something perhaps more frightening halfway through the semester: the Halloween dance. Not just dressing up during the day, like most high schools did. Nope. A dance. With formal wear. But the teachers and principal had decided on a costume-like dress code: famous formal wear.
