There's too much prejudice against them, so a kid with a villain quirk and one with no quirk at all are never going to be able to inspire that sort of trust.

    So instead of becoming heroes that bring hope, they decide to become the next best thing.

    The kind of heroes that make villains think, ‘oh, fuck, we’re screwed.’

    When Izuku Midoriya was four years old his mother was killed by those wanting to use him for his healing quirk. At least that's what his father, Hisashi Midoriya, told him. Now at seventeen years old and living in Otheon away from the heroes wanting to kidnap him and use him, sheltered Izuku's life is turned upside when a boy accidentally finds his cabin. All Izuku wants to do is go out and see the Otheon summer harvest for his birthday and this boy- This Rody- is his ticket to do just that.

    However; outside of his cabin is unsafe and Izuku knows this. He doesn't want to stay gone long, just for a day, maybe two if he pushes his luck.

    It's all easier said than done when he has Heroes, his brother Tomura, and now a cult chasing after him. How will Izuku survive? and will he somehow find romance along this crazy ride?

    In all fairness, Izuku really didn't think his life could get worse.

    And then he's on the run, trying his damndest to make the best out it. Pretty hard to do when there's no way out and he's starting from scratch with some of the best heroes, including his uncle, on his tail. The sudden discovery of a quirk definitely isn't helping, but it's not like he can do anything else but keep surviving and hope for the best.

    Right?

    (In which Izuku can't die, is forced into living, and makes it everyone's problem. His loved ones disagree with calling it a 'problem', but that's their business.)

    ((Featuring: Quirkless Society, Vigilante Izuku and shenanigans, Hitoshi getting a goddamn break, plans to overturn hero society, and a group of tired heroes just trying to help a bunch of very traumatized and very capable kids.))

    After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.
