Summary
There was this thing that happened, every now and then. On occasion, the constant, ever-evolving whirring in Taehyun’s brain would come to a halt, and his thoughts dissipated into nothingness. A factory reset, of a sort. It left him unable to do anything except freeze in place, and tended to happen only in moments of true panic, which were very rare for him.
That was the state he found himself in now, unmoving, unblinking, unable to think or react beyond the widening of his eyes.
Kai continued watching him carefully. “It’s not risky if it’s you.”
