In early fall, the Girl Scouts of Jackson announced that they would be hosting their first annual father-daughter dance.
Ellie… had no idea what that meant.
“It’s not like we have a lot of dances in the QZ!” she hollered over Joel’s chuckles.
“I know, I know,” he placated as he caught his breath. “It’s pretty simple though, everyone gets dressed up, and they listen to music and dance. Sometimes there were snacks involved. Really, it’s a bonding opportunity for girls and their dads. Sarah and I used to go every year.”
