  Summary

  The Empress of Gods and Goddesses, which is Terra Mater dies from a fatal illness. Her son, Sirius Mater takes over her throne. He is seen as corrupt and destroys what is left of the empire. The heirs of each city in the empire turn away from the empire and divide. A turn takes within the story. Emperor Sirius Mater makes choices that personally affect the heirs. A ex-heir rises, Khonsu Schuyler. He takes his own choices in hand and haunts the narrative.
