His hands are gripping her hips, he’s inside her, he’s everywhere and she feels it, whatever this need for him is, it just intensifies every time they’re together, like he’s always known her body.
They’re seventeen. They don’t know anything. It’s not supposed to be this good, she’s told. But they are. And even the first time robbed a bit of her soul, in the Blue and Gold, the desk would forever be marked with memories now.
But his lips are on her neck, she’s bouncing on top of him, it feels dirty and enticing to be in a car overlooking the city, fucking him. The sound of skin on skin, the sweatiness, the heat. Their secret little rendezvous that always left her wanting more. That always imprinted the memory of his lips on hers, on her body. The secret is sexy, it’s a detour from the good girl facade she has to keep up.
They sit quietly afterwards, the sun is setting, Jughead’s phone is plugged into the car, there’s a song playing that she doesn’t know, but likes enough to sit in silence, listening with him.

Summary
Betty Cooper was hopelessly in love with her best friend Jughead Jones.
Up until the first night of summer, she is hopeful that he might love her too. It was in the way that he tugs her ponytail and smiles at her, the way that he held onto her just a little longer when they hugged, it was in the way he told her that he loved her laugh, and it was in the way that he was always, always looking out for her.
So when the two of them have a moment and Jughead gives her the cold shoulder all Betty can think about is where she went wrong. Summary
The last person Betty expected to hear from on her sixteenth birthday was Jughead Jones. She hadn’t heard from him since she was six and he was nine and his mom had an affair with her uncle, tearing both of their families apart.
Ten years, a birthday message and secret film festival later, Betty and Jughead have created their own long-distance friendship separate from their parents. Betty, who still lives on the island, finds herself seeking out Jughead more and more as the year passes, and unknowingly, he seeks her out just as much.
So a drunken question, fueled by two bottles of wine, sends Jughead back to the compound on the island for Thanksgiving, trapping him, Betty and their feelings, on a small farm for a week.
