Summary
Varric stared, for once in his life totally lost for words. The person on the floor was familiar, because the person on the floor was him.
When the Herald of Andraste and Dorian Pavus escape from the warped and broken future they glimpse in Redcliffe castle, they do not return to their own time alone.
For the fledgeling Inquisition, and for the old Carta matriarch that has been roped into leading them by the mysterious mark on her hand, the survivors from the ruined world will force them to come face-to-face with the consequences of failing in their mission.
For Cassandra and Varric, confronted with future counterparts they could never have imagined, everything they thought they knew about themselves – and each other – will be thrown in question.

Summary
He was scrawny, almost emaciated, shirtless, with jeans drooping off his hipbones. Filthy too, even more than everyone else here. His head was incongruously covered with a wool ski mask, hiding his hair and face. Stringy dark blond strands straggled out at the neck. His shoulders were broad; he had the look of a man who’d been strong once but was no longer. Most terribly, his right arm ended in a scarred stump just above where his wrist would have been.
“Shhh," said Brienne. She plucked at the ski mask. “Let’s get this thing off him. He looks like an incompetent bank robber. I’m surprised he can breathe.”
When it was off, she brushed the tangled hair away from his face and froze. He was unimaginably changed, and she knew him instantly. “Jaime?” she whispered. “Jaime? My God, what… what happened to you?”
In the distance, Creedence Clearwater Revival began to play “Bad Moon Rising.”

Summary
Varric has never been much for letting facts or practicality get in the way of a good story - or a steamy sex scene. Heck, knowing too much about the details of your subject only hampers your ability to write good exciting plot. (So he believes.)
But Cassandra has finally had all she can take when Varric writes about certain smutty activities he knows *nothing* about. Ugh. Nothing. Ignorant dwarf!
She decides to correct his technical errors. Loudly. In the middle of Skyhold's tavern. Hijinks (and eventually dragons) ensue.

Summary
“It’s okay,” says Varric coaxingly. “It’s alright, nobody’s gonna hurt you here. Can you tell me your name?”
“Evie,” she whispers.
“Evie. What age are you, Evie?”
“Ten.”The survivor of the Conclave isn't what anybody expects.
