Viktor won’t be thinking clearly. Jayce knows him. He’ll be too distracted by the way Jayce has dressed him, by the hunt, by what Jayce is going to do when he catches him. Their real wedding night, he thinks again, warm all over. He follows his instincts.

Summary
He has Viktor bent over the arm of their couch when the idea crosses his mind for the first time.
The thought follows him around for weeks — not even just during sex (although, definitely also during sex) — it can be something as innocuous as Viktor padding around their shared apartment in one of Jayce’s old college shirts, neckline sloping low around a bruised shoulder. Jayce lives his life in a constant state of awe of the beauty that walks his hallways, and now, suddenly, he can think of nothing but what Viktor might look like pregnant.
It plagues him night and day.

Summary
“What matters brings you here, Councilor?”
The councilor smiled, but Viktor didn’t know what to make of that smile. He sometimes had difficulty understanding people’s true intentions when they weren’t clear with their words, and now Jayce seemed particularly secretive about his intentions. In any case, getting lost along the way was no longer an option, judging by the way he shook his head and walked with determined steps to stand in front of Viktor.
His body froze as he felt a finger holding his chin up, forcing him to look into his eyes.
Golden, warm, burning.
“I wanted to see with my own eyes the scientist who created such incredible work.” He said in a low voice, his skin light against Viktor’s, and yet the smaller man found himself unable to pull away from him. “I didn’t imagine he’d be so cute.”

Viktor stays late at the lab and ends up encountering a very enthusiastic councilor Jayce Talis. But what does a man like Jayce would even want from someone like him?
