Summary
In an instant, he takes note of a plethora of things at once; their closeness, the pinkish tint to Asu’s lips, the slope of his collarbones. The question has been spinning in Risu’s head since the second he stepped inside Asu’s room. Why am I doing this? Why am I coming to Asu?
It’s because he wants him. Risu is sick of spending his nights ruminating on past events, imagery flashing through his brain like a faulty film reel. Aikawa’s face looming over him, dimly lit alleyways, his severed head hitting the ground with a thunk. He just wants a moment of peace for once in his life, and for some goddamn reason, the only time he doesn’t think of Aikawa, lizard heads, and the feeling of death, is when he’s with Asu.
“That’s a face I haven’t seen you make before,” Asu muses. “You look like a total moron.”

Summary
There’s a lot of things about Thanos that makes him a good client to latch onto. It’s impossible to lose him in a crowd because of how bright his clothes are, for one thing. Nam-gyu’s able to keep his eyes on the prize and swoop in with fluidity, all because of Thanos’ rather…unique fashion sense.
“Did ya’ miss me?” Thanos asks as Nam-gyu approaches, eyes crinkling as he grins at him.
Nam-gyu has a feeling Thanos has something particularly interesting planned for tonight; there’s mischief that flickers throughout his expression, warm and inviting, like he plans to let Nam-gyu in on a massive secret of sorts.

It’s foolish, the way certain sections of Risu’s hair tuft upwards, still left in disarray after his bout of sleep. What a mess of a man, Asu thinks to himself as he reaches his hand upward, moving on autopilot.
His hand smooths against Risu’s hair. With how tall Risu is, it’s a bit of an awkward stretch, and considering he’s doing this without explanation, it probably seems like Asu has decided to give him a pat on the head for no reason at all. He pauses, oddly reluctant to pull his hand back, and waits to be shoved away in admonishment.
Instead, Risu lowers his head for easier access.

Summary
It’s the fault of the world for making him this way, he’ll attempt to convince himself. It’s the fault of his classmates, peers, and co-workers over the years for treating him so coldly. It’s the fault of his parents for giving birth to him, something he never wanted or asked for. It’s the fault of his blood and skin and arteries for being composed of him, the mushy flesh of his brain, the beating muscle that is his heart.
“Just get the coffee, for fucks sake,” Dojima complains, once the silence stretches on long enough to be considered awkward.
Adachi smiles sheepishly, just as he always does, upholding his endless, perpetual farce. “Yes, sir.”

Summary
Thanos feels nothing but disdain when he looks back on it now. The version of himself back then had no idea of the horrors he’d end up experiencing; the bodies, the blood, the pills slinking down terrified throats. A mangled human body, roadkill rotting on the side of the road—in both killing games and day to day life, imagery of flesh stagnate in his mind.
Nam-gyu stares at him, unblinking and unmoving. Thanos is reminded of how the wind had felt against his skin when he stood on the edge of the bridge, preparing to jump.
“I don’t think you should come over anymore,” Thanos mumbles.
