Summary
Shishikuno Ren was only in Kamakura for one reason, to kill Shishikuno Mogari. However, getting accustomed to the normal life, he finds himself experiencing new things that Kamakura has to offer.
He decides to delay his mission and try to adjust to this simple routine that he's developped over the past few weeks.
On the topic of new experiences, Shishikuno Ren seemed to be learning more things…with Charles de Noir Mamoru.

"That sounds more like love to me," Lambad says nonchalantly.
Kaveh points at him accusingly. "It is not love, it is turmoil. I am in turmoil."
Kaveh turns to Al-Haitham then, and part of him visibly softens at the sight. "Well, maybe part of it is love," he concedes. "I'm in love with you, Al-Haitham, did you know that?"
Al-Haitham, despite himself, smiles. It makes Kaveh's eyes widen. "I do know that, Kaveh. You told me a few nights ago, do you remember?"
"I think so."
"Good. Then you should remember that I told you to tell me that when you're sober, and maybe then I'll say it back."
Kaveh squints at him. "'Maybe?' What do you mean by 'maybe?' I have changed my mind. You are a bastard, and I am not in love with you."
There is no winning with Kaveh. But maybe, there is no losing either.
In which Kaveh keeps drunkenly confessing to Al-Haitham.

Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

Kaveh learns sign language just to continue bickering with Alhaitham.
