Said his name was—Carr, or Kemp, or something. Something like that."
(Or: in a universe where Bruce becomes aware that someone's looking into the Batman, he goes to the effort to track down Clark Kent. It doesn't play out quite the way either of them expected.)

The dragon arrived early in the morning, and by noon the entire village was in a panic in the town hall. No one in the village knew anything about dragons, aside from what they’d heard in fairy tales and stories, and the plans for dealing with it were about that level of sophisticated.
“We’re not sacrificing a virgin to the dragon,” Viktor said in exasperation.
“Well what would you do?!” the mayor demanded.
“I’m going to go talk to it,” Viktor said reasonably, and got up from his seat and went to do just that.

The scent of damp and dust filled his lungs as he took a deep breath, trying to force himself not to get lost in morbid thoughts. Suddenly, as he passed through yet another creaky old door, he was surprised by a sudden warmth in the air. He halted, lifting his torch higher, pointing it towards the end of the corridor, and couldn’t help a small gasp of excitement.
A writhing mass of multi-coloured tentacles was planted firmly on the walls and ceiling of the narrow passageway, only a slim gap in the middle where he might squeeze through. Specifically, a variety of tentacle monster he’d never seen before.----
Laios gets (consensually) tentafucked and gets some eggs put in him. Not much more to say about it.
