Sonic is alarmingly concerned for the well-being of Knuckles, who literally just tried to kill him several times. Why? He doesn’t know. Why he chooses to save Knuckles’ life when it will most likely get him killed? He also doesn’t know. But with Knuckles’ help (if they both make it out), he’d sure like to find out why.
