Summary

Wei Wuxian twisted his head back, and if his vision clouded he ignored it in return for reassuring Lan Zhan. Oh, Lan Zhan how I wish things could be different. Despite the way acid churned in his stomach and the thought of being in the hands of the Wens actually nauseated him, Wei Wuxian called back cheerfully, “Don’t worry, Lan Zhan! They probably won’t even be able to stand me for one night, I'll be back in no time!”
“Wei Ying. Please, come back to me.”
Lan Zhan’s voice was so raw that the tears that Wei Wuxian had been trying to hold back for so long now wasted no time as they leaped forward, cascading down to his chin.
Wei Wuxian didn’t care, he let himself go. His fate had already been sealed anyway. “Promise me you’ll wait for me, Lan Zhan.”
Lan Zhan swallowed, eyes flickering desperately across his face, to the Wens, then back to his face. “Forever. I’ll wait forever if that is what it takes to see Wei Ying again.”

Summary
He played as if he was holding glass underneath his fingers. He played tenderly, as if he was afraid he would break what he had held so close. The piece itself was not a complicated one. It was soft and it was sweet. Something real and more similar to how Taehyung would say how he felt if he could actually speak.
Everything about it though– absolutely everything was the truth.

Summary
