Jimin is down on his luck.
He works a stupid job that he doesn’t particularly like, reports to a stupid boss whose life’s mission is to overwork him and has stupid friends who make him do stupid things. Like attend parties in three story mansions that are worth more than he’ll probably make in his life. Which is why he isn’t all that surprised when he finds himself mildy drunk and mildly humiliated, hiding from the Vice President of the studio he works at.
Jeongguk hasn’t been having the best year either.
His father decided to up and retire, leaving Jeongguk in charge of an entire gaming studio that no one thinks he can run. The board is packed with sharks who do their best to undermine him at every turn. And if that isn’t enough, when he comes home early from his much needed, well deserved, cut-short-by-the-very-same-money-hungry-bunch-of-jerks-in suits, vacation he finds his house turned upside down by a college-esque rager.
But what happens when their worlds collide behind a bunch of shrubbery?

“So, mom...” Jimin starts, not really sure how to tell his mother that it turns out she wouldn’t be meeting his boyfriend today, like he promised. Because they broke up. Because Jimin caught the motherfucker cheating on him. Fucking Dojun.
“Yes, dear?” She asks, a sweet smile on her face, and Jimin takes a deep breath, gathering strength to just spit it out. But before he can do it, she asks, “Oh, is that your boyfriend?”
Jimin looks at his mom with quirked eyebrows, before following her line of sight to the handsome man just entering the restaurant. Jeongguk, his dog-sitter. Fuck, with everything that happened he forgot he told him to come by so he could give him his house key.
Jimin’s about to clear up the misunderstanding when, instead, faced with the wide proud smile on his mom face, the word that ends up leaving his lips is, “yes.”OR
One winter break, Jimin finds in Jeongguk something he didn't even know he was looking for.
