This. Was. AWFUL!
She'd been shoved here after tumbling out of a coffin, no explanation, and put in a room of strangers! What else could she do? She felt obligated to lie. She doubted anyone heard her, but it was what the headmage had called her. It felt like the best option in order to blend into this eccentric group and flee this school as soon as possible. Honestly! It took all of her self control not to complain.
Despite the pout on her face, the mirror spoke. The mask replied to her with an icy glare. Her eyes widened.
"The nature of your soul is..."
It was enchanting. She’d only ever heard stories of such magic. She could feel the energy shift, like she could touch it, yet-
"Corrupt."
OR
Yuu isn't quite the same beast tamer we know, and they certainly aren't as passive either. At least she fits in!

Summary
After witnessing seven overblots and being pulled into the many plots of the villainous magical students, Yuu is lucky to have almost survived a full school year at Night Raven College. Of course, she has been scarred in more ways than one, and Crowley has yet to give her any information about finding a way home, but that's alright. She is not a native, she is not a boy, and above all else, she has no magic, so it is her job to take the broken pieces of the school and put them back together as her way of earning her keep, even if it cuts her apart instead. Yuu doesn't mind this, because these dysfunctional mages are now her friends, and she would do anything for them.
But somewhere deep inside her, kept hidden from every single person she knows, there is a thing in Yuu that hungers for something. She does not know what it is or what it searches for, but she does know that it is growing stronger with every dream and nightmare she has. And she is not sure how much longer she will be able to stop it.
(a take on Book 8 where everything that's happened to Yuu catches up to them, and how those who caused it have to fix things, for once)

Summary
Piper Finch, a 17 year old girl from England who loves playing with her stuffed animal friends in the woods, was attending her final year of boarding school. She hoped to just do what she has always done: assist people when needed, survive, and get back to the woods when the year was over.
She certainly knew that this year would be different considering it's the last one, with the new changes and adulthood sneaking up on her. But she never expected for it to take a huge turn.
For after her first few days, she suddenly found herself upon the campus of Nigh Raven College. And wouldn't you know it, she is the only student there that does not know magic.
As she is waiting for a way home, she might as well try to do what she does best, assist others the best she can in another world not made for her.
But maybe, just maybe, she will learn she is braver than she believes, stronger than she seems, and smarter than she thinks. And possibly pass that on to the people there.

"No, I asked if you could hire a therapist or someone the students can talk to. You know, so we don't have another Overblot."
"I understand you perfectly, my dear, but unfortunately we simply can't hire anyone new for this school year. Besides, I doubt Mr. Riddle would divulge anything of his past to a stranger. No, no, this is a much better idea, yes much better, oh I'm so kind to my students to come up with this..."
"Sir! I'm not a therapist!"
"Not with that attitude. Think of this as experiential learning, truly other educators wish they were as wise as I..." Crowley kept going but Yuu was no longer paying him any attention. No, her focus was solely on the planner and the appointment written in red ink on Friday.

Summary
When a dangerous mystical book is confiscated from inexperienced students, Vil Schoenhiet takes it upon himself to neutralise the threat contained within. The book is taken to the dorm leader meeting, but the book's curse activates, and the dorm leaders are trapped within its pages, unable to escape.
All but Vil are convinced they are the characters within the story, remembering nothing of their true lives. Vil plays the role of a fortune teller and must confront his fellow dorm leaders in ways he never expected, a siren, a magician, a monster hunter and more await Vil on his journey to escape the book. If he cannot get them to remember their true selves, they may be trapped forever.
