In a flash, George reaches for the knife - one with a shiny blade that Dream has carved his name onto - and without even looking, he drives it into the table, barely missing the skin between Wilbur’s left ring finger and middle one. Someone screams, but George doesn’t let go of the knife that is now stuck and standing upright in the dark oak table.
“You’re right. I wouldn’t die for Dream.”
“I’d kill for him.”Or, they go to war against L'manberg, and as George struggles to protect Dream from others, he starts to realise that perhaps the thing Dream needs the most protecting from - is himself.

“C'mere Dreamie.” He cooed, rolling his chair back and spread his legs out giving Dream more than enough room to sit under his desk. Dream happily obliged, settling between George's legs as he rolled his chair closer to the desk again.
Dream sighed happily, pulling his blanket tighter around his shoulders and resting his head on George's legs.

Dream shifts so that George can wrap his legs around his waist. “You’re lucky I’m so hopelessly in love with you,” he mumbles with fake annoyance, lifting George by the thighs as he stands up.
“I know,” George replies contentedly against the curve of Dream’s neck. “I just have that effect on people.”
“You’re so dumb.”
“Yup.”
“I could just drop you right now.”
“You wouldn’t,” George smiles, eyes closed.
