So, when MK and Mei accidentally find a cactus that makes them travel through time and in their attempt to figure out how it works end up with a dozen copies of themselves, who better to ask but their smartest guy on the team? Of course, Tang is up for the task! There's nothing his intellect can't get around to!
When he ends up a few hundred years in the past with two spider demons on his butt he needs to make allies and by the god of plot purpose, ends up with two very powerful monkeys.
Who seem to be at the end of their partnership.
Well, no one ever said it was going to be easy. Plus, a bit of couples counseling never hurt anybody! After all, he just needs them to stick around long enough for him to be able to get back home without getting attached. Not that hard.
Easy peasy.

Summary
It was a picture of… Pigsy and Tang?
It looked as if they were at some sort of altar, with red drapes decorating the ceiling, red bouquets of paper flowers placed along the walls and floor, and right in the background — centered directly behind the two men — a giant, gold-painted symbol for Double Happiness…
“IS THIS A WEDDING PHOTO!?”
Or, while cleaning out Pigsy’s storage, MK finds a photo.

Summary
It’s not often that Chang’e gets to meet with Nezha. The Third Lotus Prince spends most of his time squirreled away in his own palace or the Jade Emperor’s.
Every few years, though, she makes it a point to drop in on him. She’d meant to after the incident with the Lady Bone Demon, but had promptly forgotten when something else came up.
Now, though, after watching the very fabric of the night sky rip open before her own eyes, she feels it prudent to meet with him. She knows that if she doesn’t periodically check on him, then no one will.

Summary
It all ended well. It all ended perfectly fine. Everything was fine. It wasn’t a disaster. Heaven is still intact, Earth is still intact, the Samadhi fire is under control and no longer a threat. Everything is fine.
So why does Nezha feel as though he’s being marched towards his death? The halls are silent aside from his footsteps, and those of his escorts.
He doesn’t really know why he’s surprised, why he thought that this time would be any different than the last several. Taking the blows for Sun Wukong is not new, it’s routine. Nezha isn’t his official keeper, by any means, but he always seems to be thrown under the bus when the monkey does something wrong. And besides, he did allow the map to be stolen in the first place, even if it turned out to be in the world’s best interests in the end.

Summary
Ne Zha is the god of children, answering prayers for their safety, whispering spells of protection, and guiding orphans through another day. He walks between heaven and earth, ensuring that young lives are spared from fate’s cruel hand.
But even gods can forget themselves. Ne Zha wears the armor of a warrior, the mantle of a protector, yet beneath the glamours and the titles, he remains what he has always been:
An eternal child.
One caught between the innocence he safeguards and the burdens he cannot escape.
And when the lotus blooms, in the spaces where divinity brushes against mortality, he is reminded: even gods need to heal.
—
An introspective on Ne Zha and his titles. Poem-like stories, short and full of imagery!
