Summary
After a multitude of setbacks, 22-year-old Gerard has started his freshman year of college. A thousand miles from home, a burgeoning sexuality crisis leads him to a BDSM forum, seeking a hookup and maybe a friend in an unfamiliar place.

when you spend life doing the same thing day in and day out, it becomes monotonous. especially when those days consist of punching numbers, hollow small talk and relentless deadlines. there is, of course, one release from the world. and Frank is no stranger to it. what begins as an escape, anonymity, control, becomes a necessary fracture in the monotony. but release has a way of bleeding into the rest of life, and Frank doesn’t realize how thin the walls between his worlds truly are.
especially not when his fire meets Gerard’s quiet restraint.
caught between the fluorescent office lights and the velvety shadows hierarchy and desire face off with discipline and vulnerability. they find themselves circling opposite ends, unaware that the stranger that soothes them in the night is the same man who unsettles them in the day.
