Summary
Living with an emotionally absent father, young Taehyung had dreamed of leaving the village he was born in. Life in the city with his best friend, Jimin, seemed to be everything he ever wanted. He has a great home, a dream job and found family he needed.
Hearing his estranged father is dead, he has to return home and face painful memories of his lonely past and he fully plans to go, make arrangements and leave as quickly as possible.

Summary
Jeon Jeongguk is the chaebol heir to one of Korea’s most luxurious clothing brands. His father, Jeon Jiwon, who built the company from scratch is a strong front runner in the high-end fashion industry.
Likewise, Kim Daehyun and his son Kim Taehyung own ‘Vante’, a household name when it comes to statement jewellery pieces and fashion-forward, innovative accessories.
Having once being college roommates and still very close friends, it’s a little disappointing to the CEOs that their sons do not follow in their footsteps when it comes to camaraderie.
As it turns out, Jeongguk and Taehyung cannot stand each other. A healthy competitive nature their fathers call it, but the roots of their hatred stem further than simple petty rivalry.
In fact, their issues started a very long time ago when Jeongguk was still a pimply, hormonal 16 year old and 17 year old Taehyung did the worst thing a best friend could possibly ever do— he left him behind.
