“You know what I’m here for,” Alfred forces himself to maintain eye contact with Ivan, to act like he has even a semblance of higher ground in this situation.
Ivan backs him up against the shut door. Alfred is already so disoriented that he doesn’t realize how close he is to the door until his head thunks against it, eliciting the tiniest chuckle from Ivan. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to hear you say it,” Ivan says, his lips turning down into a mock frown. “Don’t want to lose anything to cultural differences.”
Or, Alfred can't sleep because he can't stop thinking about Ivan.
