Why he had that reaction, he would ponder on later during one of his sleepless nights because Dazai had never been one for experiencing emotions, and at the moment that weird organ in his chest was fluttering-

[HIATUS. I don't know when I will continue this, if I ever do it, I wanted to make a type of fic that is not what I was currently bringing to all of you and, I don't want to delete it, but I'm not proud of this work. If I overcome the current burnout and find time and energy for it, I will come back to this and give Li and everyone the fic you deserve, I'm so sorry for the people expecting to see more of this, life got in the way]
After graduating from college Chuuya Nakahara ended up taking a scholarship out of Japan for a year to work on his master's degree.
Now he's back to the city that saw him grow, and back to the person he always finds himself coming back too, even if Dazai is a constant headache.
What he wasn't expecting was that, his year away, would have been enough for Dazai to become a father.
