Summary
Seong Gi-hun agreed to one thing: a calm, quiet vacation with his best friend’s family. Swimming, drinking, maybe napping away the burnout of office life. What he did not agree to: sharing a roof with an alpha.
The brother. The older one. Sharp eyes, sharper tongue, the kind of alpha who makes the air in a room too tight just by existing.
Gi-hun can’t stand him. He’s too smug, too still, too unreadable.
The tension should’ve stayed harmless. Just side-eyes and petty remarks across the kitchen table. But one night, under cheap neon lights and too much alcohol, Gi-hun learns exactly what happens when hate and want get tangled in the dark.
Spoiler: it’s not calm. It’s not quiet. And it sure as hell isn’t platonic.
OR
A summer lakehouse. A best friend’s older brother. A whole lot of sexual tension.
Enemies-to-lovers, but make it hot and sweaty. -

Summary
Seong Gi-hun is broke, broken, and terribly pathetic. His only job? Cleaning the offices of Hwang In-ho, a pharmaceutical CEO whose icy reputation rivals his brittle lungs. But when Gi-hun finds In-ho suffocating on his own boardroom floor, he does the unthinkable: he saves him.
Now In-ho owns him.
Their deal is simple: Gi-hun becomes In-ho’s 24/7 "health aide," monitoring his asthma, hiding his weakness, and surviving his scorn. In return, Gi-hun gets enough cash to keep his daughter safe. But every wheezing breath In-ho takes binds them closer—Gi-hun’s scarred hands adjusting oxygen tubes, In-ho’s sharp eyes tracking his every move.
OR
A broke janitor saves a CEO’s life. Now he’s his human inhaler.
It’s clinical. Professional. Totally platonic. -

Summary
Seong Gi-hun’s best friend, Hwang In-ho, disappeared for a week. When he returned, everything about him seemed... normal.
But something’s off. He acts like In-ho, talks like him, even smiles like him. But deep down, Gi-hun can’t shake the feeling that something’s wrong. He feels uneasy, like a vital piece is missing from the man he once knew.
Gi-hun wants to believe it’s just his mind playing tricks on him. He wants to ignore the creeping suspicion that this isn’t really In-ho. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to pretend everything’s fine.
OR
In-ho’s back, but he’s not the same. Gi-hun feels it in every touch, every word, and yet, he can’t bring himself to walk away. Something’s wrong with In-ho, but what if the man he’s trying to hold on to isn’t really him at all?

Summary
Seong Gi-hun is desperate. His ex will be at his brother’s wedding, his family won’t shut up about his love life (or lack thereof), and the thought of showing up alone makes him want to throw himself into traffic. His solution? Find a fake date.
Enter Hwang In-ho. Annoyingly good at playing the perfect boyfriend. It should be simple—just an arrangement, nothing more. But between nosy relatives, unexpected hotel room logistics, and In-ho being way too good at fake affection, Gi-hun is starting to think this might be his worst idea yet.
OR
Seong Gi-hun needs a date for a wedding. Hwang In-ho is willing to pretend.
It’s fake. Totally fake. Nothing could possibly go wrong. (Spoiler: Everything went messy. And so is Gi-hun's insides. Yes. You read that right.) -

Summary
Gi-hun grew up believing soulmates were a gift. In-ho was taught they were a curse.
One spent his life waiting. The other spent his life running. They weren’t supposed to meet. Not like this. Not under a city too big, under a sky too gray, with a bond too heavy to bear.
But fate doesn’t care about “supposed to.”
OR:
In-ho spent his whole life rejecting his mark. Denying the connection. Burying the ache.
But then—he meets him.
And every lie he told himself comes crashing down.

Summary
“Jesus.” Now that was more a squeak out of his mouth, and his phone clobbered down to the tile floor, the people in scrubs rushing past paying him no mind. He scrubbed a hand over his face, collecting himself before picking his phone up off the ground gingerly.
Thank god the screen hadn’t cracked, but the brightness still made his eyes burn, and he had a fleeting thought that the text would be brandished, reflecting off the light of his skewed glasses for anyone to see. He rubbed his eyes, fingers splayed underneath the plastic frames.

Summary
He wants, wants, wants.
Gi-hun swallows the want. Ignores the longing. Squeezes a little tighter on Young-il’s shoulder to check if he’s real.
“You can’t be here,” Gi-hun says, rough, hushed enough for the bystanders to not catch. They probably still do, the silence in the dormitory deafening.
“You weren’t supposed to be here,” Young-il says in return, leaning his head on the wall. He sighs and closes his eyes briefly. “You weren’t supposed to find out like this.”

Or, a retelling of season two, except Gi-hun meets and falls for a man called Young-il during the search party of episode one. They meet again in the games.

Summary
"Oh! Hi!" he exclaimed, sounding pleasantly surprised. A warm light from the streetlamp outside peeked through the gap in the curtains, illuminating his frame. He was shirtless now, pushing his hair away from his face. It was slightly longer than it had been when they met just over a year before. "I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"
"I was only sleeping lightly. I’m glad I got to see you.”
Gi-hun returns from a night out seeing his friends. His boyfriend is more than pleased to see him.

Summary
“I’m not a prostitute,” The man sitting in the small plastic chair opposite Junho’s work desk repeated.
Junho glanced up from the arrest form he was filling out on his computer and studied him. Seong Gihun, age forty-three, resident of Ssangmun-dong. The system showed his only living relative to be his elderly mother. There were numerous citations on file for money issues mostly, but no prostitution. Oh, and today was his birthday.
“Officer,” the man said, wringing his hands like an old woman and rocking in his seat, “I swear.”
Junho took his fingers off the keyboard and crossed them over his desk. “Ajusshi, I have you on video without your pants in a popular love hotel.”
