Following Eddie's pov, during and after Buck getting struck by lightning.
"Buck!" Eddie's whole body felt like it was on fire with a mix of adrenaline and physical pain from the lightning.
Eddie didn't even give himself a second before he was stood up and heading up the ladder to get to Buck's lifeless body.
Eddie's body was swaying from side to side, his ears were ringing, but none of that stopped him from climbing upwards.
By the time he got to Buck, it had already been close to a minute since Buck had become unresponsive. (In 9 more minutes, he will be brain dead).

Buck hated watching the clock. For any reason but specifically when he couldn't sleep. Eddie was sleeping beside him, having shifted away in his sleep about 54 minutes ago. Buck was tossing and turning for hours. He hated when he got like this. He could feel the restlessness in his bones. Like he wanted to run for miles but he was still tired deep down. He shifted again, trying to spend some of that energy. Eddie mumbled in his sleep and immediately Buck felt a wave of guilt wash over him. Keeping himself up was one thing, keeping Eddie up was another.
