Summary
Wei Wuxian was born as the Sena, the most powerful wolf-shifter in existence. As an asena, Wuxian's chosen mate will become the Alpha of all Alpha wolves. But, Wei Ying was born a male, not a female Luna, and he has no intentions of becoming the trophy mate of an egotistical leader.

"They'll love you, Lan Zhan!" Wei Wuxian assures him.
Lan Wangji makes a slight face, unsure of that statement.
Wei Wuxian huffs, lifting a fry up to Lan Wangji’s mouth which Lan Wangji dutifully eats, "They will! Look, I talk about you all the time, they already love you! You won't regret it, come on."
Then Wei Wuxian looks up at him, eyes wide and searching, and he's probably not even doing it on purpose, and with that face he says, "I just want my favorite people to meet each other."
Lan Wangji is just a man.
"Okay."'
It’s decided.
That night, at 7pm, Lan Wangji is doomed to meet his boyfriend’s family.
Wei Wuxian convinces Lan Wangji to meet his family. Lan Wangji suffers.

The young prince casts one last look at Wei Ying, and says, “I did hear about the stories, about a wretched, horned creature of the forest.”
Wei Ying holds his breath. “And?”
Lan Zhan’s lips curl, just barely. “I can hardly understand why anyone would describe you as an ugly thing.” And then he flees out of the door, before Wei Ying can even get a word in.
Or, this is not the story of how an evil fairy curses a human prince. Rather, this is a story of a young prince’s persevering love for a dark fae.
