Summary
A fix-it fic where Bilbo must navigate through a world of dwarves with completely different customs, rules and a new King fevered by gold-sickness. Will he be able to save this king from the sickness that plagues his mind? Or will he find solace in the arms of a different dwarf?
“Tea is at four. There’s plenty of it. You are welcome anytime. Uh… Don’t bother knocking.”
And so, the hobbit left for the Shire, Gandalf and a horse in tow. This is where his story ends.
But–wait. I’m terribly sorry. That cannot be it, can it? The Lonely Mountain reclaimed after one hundred and seventy years of capture, everybody dead, and our hobbit–our master burglar, who had found family among the company–returns home to live out his days in quiet isolation?
No. No, no.
The journey, though an unexpected one, does not end here. Let us go back in time a moment, shall we?
“Tea is at four. There’s plenty of it. You are welcome anytime. Don’t bother knocking.”
Making his way to Gandalf, the hobbit turned back one last time and waved. He climbed onto the horse, settling himself–then paused.

Summary

Sellers takes a sip of his wine, staring at him over the rim with thoughtful eyes. “I meant what I said, you know,” he says as he replaces his glass with a delicate clink. “Perhaps your current situation is doing you more harm than good.”
Ringo sighs. “They’re my friends though, y’know? I love John and Paul, even when they’re being right pricks to me, and I love George and Mo. Even despite—everything. I’m sure I‘ll get over it eventually; I know they didn’t mean to hurt me. At least—I’m sure George didn’t; he’s thoughtless and young, but he’s not cruel. And Mo…well, maybe she did want it to hurt a little bit, but god knows I deserve it if it does. I just…I don’t know how I can look them in the eyes again.”
Sellers tilts his head. “I have…a proposal.”

Summary
A smut fic that turned into a speedrun through the Hobbit and an exploration of Consort Bilbo all inspired by this tik tok:
“Omegas making their nests in gardens. The flowers bloom when they’re in heat. (Alphas either have to endure poison or thorns to claim them)” @thecoffinarcThorin’s voice cut through the air. “And how does one manage to pass through such dangerous terrain? Obviously hobbit omegas do mate. We saw plenty of children running around in the Shire.”
Bilbo whipped his head up, caught under Thorin’s heated gaze. Was he asking out of curiosity? Or because he was interested? No, that couldn’t possibly be why. “Of course! Brute strength won’t do it, or at least it’s never worked for a hobbit. The only way to have safe passage through an omegas garden is to be their fated mate. I believe you would call it your One. They are resistant to the poisons, and unharmed by the thorns.”
Bilbo was pulled into further questioning by Balin, but he couldn’t help but allow his eyes to wander back to the King. Thorin was still looking at him, as if considering something. Bilbo’s heart raced and he desperately tried ignoring the hope growing in his chest.
