Gepard grumbles to himself and crosses his arms, "How much?"
"Well.." Sampo drags, and Gepard just knows he's actually been thinking about it from the start, "There's this fancy theatre up in the city. I bet you know it easy; the Golden Mask."
"I do.." Gepard agrees cautiously, "What about it?"
"I love the theatre, but they're pretty strict about giving you entrance up there. Noble families only, apparently," Sampo pouts, grumbling to himself, "Have you been?"
Gepard feels a little sheepish when he says, "As a kid, yeah."
"Good," Sampo nods, "Then I want you to get me in. You can bring a couple guests, so make me a plus one."

Gepard is given a new job in the underworld after feeling a little out of place without Fragmentum Monsters to fight. Sampo is a regretfully useful informant to him, and he apparently just wants to go to the theatre in exchange.
To Gepard's dismay, their suprisingly easy friendship is making his life a lot more enjoyable than war ever did.

Summary
One day, while innocently eavesdropping around the bazaar, Kaveh hears that Alhaitham, apparently, has a partner.
A whole lot of assumptions follow.---
“I must say, Acting Grand Sage, I certainly didn’t expect your patronage at my little stall. It must be a special occasion if you’re buying flowers, I assume?” The older woman smiles as she hands him the bouquet in exchange for a small pouch of mora.
“Mm, it is.” Alhaitham nods. “They’re for my partner.”
Both the stall vendor and Kaveh gasp in surprise. Kaveh doesn’t dare move or look in Alhaitham’s way as he stands still, staring straight ahead.
Surely he must have heard it wrong.The woman stammers a bit but recovers quickly, and Kaveh can hear her giggle. “O-oh, it’s my honor to sell them to you, then. I hope they are to your partner’s liking.”
“They are quite beautiful.”
“Beautiful flowers for a beautiful person?” The vendor teases.
Kaveh steals a glance in their direction, just enough to see the man smile gently.
“Yes, exactly.”

Summary
For all of Kaveh’s impetuousness, for all of his ridiculous romantic notions, Alhaitham can’t help but enjoy Kaveh because he knows him. Kaveh feels like a language he speaks well, at this point.
Which is why Alhaitham is shocked when he sees a new expression on Kaveh’s face. A dust of pink on his cheeks, lips upturned into a shy smile as he looks down and back up...
