"What the hell are you doing here anyway, kid? Can't you see I'm busy?" Vik gives V a look over the rim of his glasses[...]
"Vik, you and I both know you're gonna just sit in that chair and fall asleep watching the match." V jerks his chin toward the drone of the TV set. It's obvious that Vik rolls his eyes even behind the tinted lenses. [...] "Just take the free booze and company, doc. Live a little." [...]
Vik fires up his most put-upon sigh when he makes his way over and plops down into his desk chair. It swivels a little into the momentum of his weight but hardly budges against the practiced scuff of his heel against the floor that keeps both the screen and V in his view. His eyebrows rise expectantly.
Under the wither of Vik's tired stare, V grabs one of the cans and thumbs it open, offering it with a cheeky wiggle in front of Vik's nose. Finally, begrudgingly, Vik gives in.

V is interested in Vik despite the doc's professional concerns, but in the end, it doesn't take much convincing.
