   Summary

California is where you don't see much hero activity-- but that changes when a girl falls into a pit and is chosen for a destiny nobody has had in five centuries. Gods, heroes, wizards, aliens, billionaires, and robots are all in the hands of a choir girl with a smoking addiction... but there's one thing that keeps her grounded: a hero in red she meets when Iron Man recruits her to fight Captain America.

(This fic will continue with the MCU; it's marked as unfinished because the MCU isn't over yet-- SO PLEASE READ. I do promise and assure that this fic will be finished one day)
