Summary
The pain only intensified. Steve began to lose track of days as his body felt like it was breaking and putting it self together over and over again.
He felt something in his back and often he couldn’t handle being inside. It was suffocating. Everything felt so suffocating.
Sweat drenched down his body. The upside down was freezing yet Steve was sweating like it was summer in Hawkins. He was outside, lying down near Eddie’s grave again.
He felt the strangest need to be close. Like the corpse was in danger. Or maybe insanity was finally settling in after too many blows to the head.
Steve didn’t really question himself though. Everything was hurting him and being near Eddie was the only thing that seemed to soothe him a little.

Steve Harrington wakes up in the upside down and finds himself changing. And he finds out Eddie isn’t as dead as he thinks he is. And that they’re mates.Steve is surprisingly cool with all this.
