“Peter, you seem to be experiencing an elevated heart rate and slightly bruised ribs. Would you like me to inform Mr. Stark that you should be treated at the tower?” Karen’s voice jolted Peter back to reality, causing him to bolt upright again.
“No, I’m good! It doesn’t even hurt that much now, actually,” Peter assured his A.I.
In which Peter gets seriously injured on a mission after disobeying Tony’s orders to track down a dangerous criminal. Afraid that Tony will punish him by taking away his suit again, Peter decides to keep quiet about it and take care of himself… except he learns that his metabolism doesn’t quite work that way. Luckily, Tony and Steve won’t give up on him, no matter how many times he insists that he’s fine.
Set after Avengers: Endgame, but Tony somehow survived his snap and Steve didn’t go back in time to live with Peggy.
