“He didn’t save her just because she stayed,” Stelle says. “He saved her because he couldn’t imagine a world where she wasn’t in it. That’s what I think at least.”
Her words hurt his heart a little in a way he can’t explain. Because he gets it. He can’t imagine a world without her in it, either.
