Leehan is fast asleep on the couch, face tipped back against the cushions, mouth open, soft snores escaping his lips. It’s a familiar sight, one he’s long used to now, but it still tugs at the strings of his heart, fills it with love until it swells out of his chest.
Even after all this time, Leehan still waits up for him. He still waits for Riwoo to come home from work every day.

“You’re lucky you’re so quick,” Jaehyun says scathingly, palms gliding over Taesan’s skin, assessing the damage. “If it got you a second sooner, it would've been a lot worse. It could have hit something vital.”
His stomach churns as he takes in the blood, the clean slice through his side. He’ll never get used to the feeling of having Taesan’s life in his hands, at his fingertips, the weight of the trust Taesan has placed in him.

Summary
There’s a moment of hesitation, dripping between them, ripe with possibilities and all the things Taesan might say to persuade him to come over. He doesn’t say any of them. He doesn’t need to, and it’s Jaehyun’s fault for expecting anything more from him. Have some self respect, Jaehyun thinks. Don’t go. It’s easy enough to consider but he knows he’ll go without much argument. It’s always like this. Taesan will call and Jaehyun will go.
Taesan is lonely. He misses him. He needs company. He’ll never say that.

Taesan doesn’t like touch too much.
He doesn’t like deliberate, consistent contact with people. Skin-on-skin, lips brushing against each other, feeling the texture of someone’s clothes at the back of his hand. It all discomforts him, always has. There is no reason for it–not that he can infer–and most of the time, he isn’t bothered by it, either.
But he likes Jaehyun alot. Loves him.
And Jaehyun loves touch.
