Summary
In the late 1800s, Aziraphale Fell travels from England on behalf of his mentor to speak with a new client and explain everything of importance concerning the property they purchased on his behalf. However, Count Gabriel is unsettling in a way Aziraphale cannot explain, and this simple work trip will have consequences not only for Aziraphale, but for his betrothed's dearest friend, as well as greater London.
Can he overcome his own manners and fears to escape the Count's castle? Will he and his allies be able to find and destroy Gabriel before he turns Aziraphale's beloved into a monster like himself? Will Aziraphale ever truly enjoy smoked paprika again?

Summary
Crowley has been working for Beelzebub for as long as it's mattered, but at this job he can't find his target. Everything is a little off, but it's not at all spooky enough. Not that he'll turn down regular meals, a comfortable bed and tending a garden in need guidance while looking. He might switch jobs if things stay this comfy.
Aziraphale has never been what the rest of the family wants him to be, including his indulgence in a splendid garden. However, his most recent gardener was forced to 'retire', and he can't tend it himself. Hiring the man who literally 'drops' in is probably a bad idea, but it's a fun idea and spares them all the trouble of 'hiring' anyone else this season. If only the family hadn't discovered an emergency.

In need of solace, he imagines such a demon instead, an adversary to test his thoughts against and help him prepare his arguments for when he debates a real demon. And, eventually, someone to share a drink with.

“Mount Meeker. Small avalanche from the sound of it, R2, R3 maybe. But we’ve got two missing hikers, caught in the powder, so at least a D2 in terms of force. Bentley and I are out first. Adam, you’re on extraction gear, Pepper, you’re on medical. We don’t know what shape these folks are in.” He finally sets his gaze squarely on Aziraphale, his eyes flick to the lens of his camera and back up again. “Stay out of the way.”
Aziraphale packs his camera gear and heads to the Rocky Mountains to film with an elite search and rescue team. Turns out the terrain isn't his only challenge.

This was exactly the type of customer Divinitea wanted to attract, Aziraphale thought. Modern, fashionable, rich. Too casually dressed to be a banker. No, this was someone with an undefinable job that was done at posh brunch places with free wi-fi. He probably had the word entrepreneur on his business card. He was clearly a bellend. But a very attractive one. Shame Anathema wasn’t here to admire him. Aziraphale would have to do that all by himself.
