Nat’s blow lands on the tree Misty is leaning against and her hand comes to rest there after she shakes it out. Nat’s only a few inches taller than Misty but the way she’s looming over her makes both desire and fear well up in her.

“Guess they don’t teach manners at Black Widow academy” Kate regrets the words as soon as they’re out of her mouth, she’s yanked forwards by the front of her suit, tip of her nose brushing against Yelena's.
“Say something smart again. I will cut your tongue out.” The widow spits.
Their eyes lock, and the atmosphere in the room shifts for what feels like the umpteenth time tonight. Kate’s gaze flicks to Yelena’s lips, tinted crimson thanks to a small split.
