Summary
Sakura decides to move out of her parent's house after their disapproval of her wish to join ANBU became the straw that broke the camel's back for their relationship, and the best option for a new place turns out to be none other than Sai’s apartment.
But even if their lives go as smoothly as possible, living in Konoha as a shinobi —or even as a civilian— isn't a kind life at all.
Sai has done all he can to overcome what ROOT did to him, even if his life at ANBU sometimes seems nothing more than a continuation of it, which pushes him into reevaluating his true loyalties and hopes.
And Sakura's search for power and freedom from her constraints —that both her complicated relationship with the rest of Team 7 and the village have led her into— will end in big consequences... for Konoha and further beyond.
Or how love is truly the death of duty.
