Summary
Just as Janson says to Thomas, they take special care of him. Keeping him and using his blood to create a cure for the flare.
However, what Thomas doesn’t know is that Newt survived, and manages to get the serum in time. He, Mihno, Brenda, and the others fight to get him back, and save him from a life as a human blood bank. (Along the way however, they run into other familiar faces)
While the others fight to save Thomas, he spirals in and out of the waking world as Teresa battles with her conscience.AKA: AU where far too many people survive when they originally died, and Thomas is taken as a source for the cure. (Implied Minho/Newt/Thomas because I think they're cute together. It can be platonic or pre-slash.)
