Summary
”C’mere, real quick before I go,” Shouta’s voice calls out. Hizashi, without another word, stumbles over to Shouta, who is in the process of slipping his shoes on.
”Did you forget something?” Hizashi asks genuinely. Shouta tips his head into a small nod.
”Yeah, this.”
A hand clasps around the collar of his shirt, and Hizashi doesn’t have enough time to react before Shouta pulls him in for a chaste kiss. Hands scramble to find the fabric of Shouta’s scarf while Hizashi's lips envelop Shouta’s. He grips onto the scarf for dear life as he leans into the slightly shorter man, trying to press himself closer, but Shouta pulls back after a few seconds and releases Hizashi’s shirt. It ends just as quickly as it began.
“That’s for flirting with me,” he comments, a little out of breath, but still blank eyed as ever. There’s nothing more than drunken eyes with red cheeks that cement their place in Hizashi’s mind.

Shouta finds a lost cat and Hizashi struggles with his feelings. Silliness and overthinking ensues.

Summary
Hizashi and Shouta have only been a… something… for a few weeks. Since they’re still trying to figure things out, they try to keep their budding romance a secret from everyone except Oboro. Sneaking around is honestly a little exciting! Still, one after another, the people in their lives seem to realize their dynamic has changed. It's surprising, but Hizashi discovers he doesn't actually mind secrets being revealed as much as he had expected to.
One question is still left standing, though.
Does this mean he and Shouta are officially dating?Through music, Hizashi's present is tied to his past, and we get a glimpse into the events that caused his loss of hearing and the rise of his persona Present Mic.

“AIZAWA-YAMADA SHOTA! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TELLING ME WE AREN’T LEGALLY MARRIED?” he shouted, unable to stop his quirk from activating. The windows started to rattle and dust fell down from the ceiling as he yelled. His husband’s hair flew up, dancing around his face madly, eyes glowing red as he erased his quirk. He kept it activated as Hizashi continued, clearly feeling a little guilty.
“SHOTA WE HAVE BEEN FILING JOINT TAXES FOR TEN YEARS, WE ARE GOING TO GO TO JAIL FOR TAX FRAUD!” he yelled, voice loud enough even without his quirk.
“You’re concerned about that and not about the fact that we aren’t technically husbands?” Aizawa asked, a smirk on his face.
