Summary
In which art major Ryuugazaki Rei runs an art installation as his term project where people can anonymously submit their failed goals, and gets strangely attached to one mysterious serial submitter.
(Also he gets saddled with a shitty group for his psych elective's group paper, but he'd prefer not think about that if he can help it. That hooligan Hazuki Nagisa who doesn't take anything remotely seriously is already bad enough in person, so he really shouldn't be occupying more space in Rei's mind than strictly necessary.)

fast-forward a few months to the present day, where we’ll finally be exploring that question – if the matsuno siblings were transplanted into the gintama universe, what, exactly, could possibly go wrong?
[new fan friendly for both series - only requires knowledge of gintama up to episode 25ish and osomatsu-san up to episode 5ish (just enough to know the characters/sense of humour)]

Summary
“Everybody!!! You won’t believe what happened to me today!!!”
Five pairs of eyes exchanged glances carrying varying degrees of disinterest. Osomatsu smiled encouragingly. “Oh? What happened, Jyushimatsu?”
Jyushimatsu grinned. “A lucky encounter! I caught a talking fish!”
The room was dead silent for half a second, and then it exploded.
An adaptation of the classic tale "The Fisherman and His Wife", Osomatsu-san-style.
Written for the Once Upon a Pine fairytale zine.

Happy (belated) birthday, Zura!
"—one night, the three of them huddled in their futons, Zura had confessed that his grandmother had always bought him plums as a treat for his birthday; the next morning, ignoring the dew still clinging to the grass, he and Takasugi got down onto their hands and knees and let Zura climb onto their backs to pick the ripe red fruits hanging down from lush green branches, the smell of earth and rain and plum all around them."
