It was supposed to be just another scandalous campaign with another forgettable actor.
But Chuuya—his bodyguard, his bad habit, his biggest problem—is done watching Dazai play pretend.When the poses get too close and the camera starts clicking like it wants a story, Chuuya writes one himself: by grabbing Dazai’s wrist mid-shoot and dragging him off set.

Dazai thought he was hard to love. Chuuya proves him wrong—on one knee, under the lanterns, in front of everyone.

“What I hate,” Fyodor hisses, “is that you have disguised your arrogance as brilliance. You waste a gift that was made to be worshipped.”
Dazai’s expression shifts, his eyes gleaming with something that sends a shiver down Fyodor’s spine.
“And if I followed your words— played to please you, earn your favor,” he murmurs, stepping close enough to feel the warmth of his breath, “would you worship me, Fyodor?”

"Oh, and don't forget to relay this information to Dazai," Kunikida retorted matter-of-factly, not even attempting to hide the scowl on his face.
"Dazai?!" Chuuya almost screamed, a borderline shriek ripped through his vocal cords. Dazai Osamu, handsome— conventionally speaking, a bright, up-and-coming psychology major, womanizer, absolute scum of the Earth, and the number one person Chuuya did not want to hear in relation to this oh-so-sweet vacation.
"God, could this get any worse!?"
[It’s sophomore year in university and the gang take a much-needed vacation to Kunikida's cabin up in the mountains. Nakahara Chuuya has a bad feeling about the whole trip because of the unwanted pest, Dazai Osamu coming along, but unexpectedly leaves with confused feelings that certainly aren’t hatred.]
