Furina has kissed and been kissed many times before. But that has been onstage, for an audience, for the grandeur of it. There is nothing sweet, nothing gentle or kind here. Only wear-worn desperation, violence, callous need. Brutal, miserable, all teeth.
“To know you,” Neuvillette begins when he attempts to separate them, as though that is something Furina will allow at this point. Their grave is dug and now they must lie in it. She is only fulfilling promises already made.
Furina says, cold as the wicked freeze of a pond in winter, colder, “Here is the truth, Neuvillette. I need you. I do. There! You have it direct from me, not sweetly implied or hidden to be wheedled out by the smooth hand of analysis and hindsight, but grossly put in front of you, your dinner. You may thank me for it when I am done speaking.”

Summary
If asked why he has this kind of arrangement with his Iudex, considering the kinds of secrets he keeps, Furina might laugh and say the whims of the divine are simply fickle.
Or he might smile and say something about keeping your friends close enough that they think they can't get any closer.
Or (realistically, assuming someone ever does ask) he might gasp in outrage—how dare you even suggest something so outrageous and improper and—and intimate, about him and the Iudex—the nerve—!
(And, sure, the tabloids will be abuzz with speculation over that sort of reaction, but in every article they'll still name him as Hydro Archon. That's the important part.)

Ruitoya week day four: Cats/Cafe/Future
Toya watches as the cat makes his way into Rui's lap, allowing him to pet the cat as he watched. The afternoon light sparkled in his eyes, focused on petting the cat. He looked wonderful in the multicoloured lights, a sight for sore eyes. The soft smile on Rui's face, one he saved for when his guard was down, was enough to make Toya's week perfect. Toya's heart clenched at the sight, he couldn't believe how cute his boyfriend was.
Rui looks up as he feels a hand slide across his back and around his waist, smiling at Toya with a loving look in his eyes. Toya was leaning on Rui's shoulder now, his eyes darting between Rui and the cat. "He reminds me of you." Toya says with a small smile.

"You consider me to be androgynous?" Neuvillette shifted slightly, his knee bumping against Furina's calf.
"Ah, sorry, do you not like that?" Furina's voice jumped a touch higher at the thought that he had accidentally offended.
"I... no, that's not it, I'm just surprised. As tall and imposing as I am? With my deep voice and large hands? I simply don't see how I could be considered androgynous."
Furina snorted and rolled over so that he was facing Neuvillette, putting one hand on his waist and the other lightly brushing his cheek. "My dear Iudex, you are putting entirely too much emphasis on the things about your body that are out of your control, and not nearly enough on the things that are."
