His voice takes Sonny out of his trance and he is reminded of the rope around his wrist and he tugs at it again. “Well, it’s in my net, so in case you don’t know how a fisherman works, it’s my fish. And I hooked it up along with you, so I guess you’re mine too?”

Summary
And even though it shouldn’t, Luca’s personal space always has room for him. Shu presses his knee more firmly against Luca’s, emboldened by the cover of the table. He hopes it's comforting.
He finally relaxes as he sees Luca smile, emerging like sunlight through a cover of clouds. Today was a hard day, it seems. His heart sinks just looking at him.
“It’s cruel, what they do. They exterminate the memory and chase out the ghosts. They leave you with nothing, or worse, they leave you haunted. It’s not very fair.”
“But you’re one of them,” he reminds him. Shu was always the pragmatist between them.

Summary
It's 1920, the rains carry the smell of rust from the spattered blood on the ground. Red slowly seeps into the drains clearing the traces of mess. Two figures, under the shade of an umbrella, look at the mess of bodies being dragged and bagged off by their men.
Their eyes hold no remorse, to them it’s just another night in this shitty world called life. The shorter of the two chuckles, catching the attention of the other. The one with a big fluffy coat questions, but it’s left unanswered. The shorter one only turns away, the raindrops soaking his clothes.
The taller, runs after him, making sure to cover the man with the umbrella, a frown on his lips, eyes looking down at the shorter, his gaze unreadable.
