Mason shakes his head. “Just--tell me something. What are you even doing here?”
Theo wiggles his empty paper cup in the air. “Having some ice cream.”
Mason eyes the cup, then him. “Yeah, but...why?”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Theo snarks. “Did I miss the memo where ex-psychopaths were banned from enjoying ice cream?”

Summary
Fire was hot. Lightning is seen before thunder is heard. And Todd Anderson could literally see dead people, those were three concrete facts of life. It's the modern day and Todd Anderson, the youngest of the two Andersons brothers, anxiety filled, family disappointment extraordinaire, and ghost seer (though that last one wasn’t as obvious), is shipped off to Welton Academy. There, he plans to be compared to Jeffery, freak out about presentations in the bathroom stalls, nap at every moment possible, and ignore the ghosts inevitably haunting those hallowed boarding school halls.
What he didn’t plan was for the cute dead boy in his dorm room from the 1950’s to be so charming, or so goddamn persistent.
