Summary
One day, six months into the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, Liam Gallagher thinks he is just closing his eyes for a nap. But it doesn’t take him long to realize that it’s no dream when he wakes up in a pub close to his first childhood home ... and the year is 1980. And not only is it not a dream, but he has a chance to go and prevent something terrible from happening to thirteen-year-old Noel. And to help the rest of his family in the long run.
Fifty-three-year-old Noel is also flung back into time shortly after and thus begins a three-year “celestial mission” (Liam’s description) where, together, the brothers go back and forth, back and forth, between their present and their past ... all because Liam made a fervent wish one night when he was eight years old.
They are often trapped together in the past for long periods of time. Simply waiting. Nothing to do but sit and deal with each other. And while they wait, maybe they can find their way back to everything they lost.
